There is a place for everything and a role for everyone. Naturally for me, even ordinary sights, people, events and encounters narrate a story of life. I am hitting a Hundred next!
It all started with an 11-year-old kid asking me a very touching question, on Oct.28, last year.
I had delivered a motivational talk for 65 kids on building a bridge to the future that they dreamed .
The talk touched a deep chord in their minds. There were enthusiastic questions and clarifications, post the talk.
Then Hariharan, all of 11 years old, raised his hand. He wanted to share a thought with me. I nodded.
“Sir, You have motivated 65 of us in the last 90 minutes so well with your inspiring talk...Imagine if you write a book! How many thousands of youngsters would stand to benefit and feel motivated?”
I was so touched, so deeply moved. I promised him that I would do it soon. Maybe in 100 days.
I have not lived up to that promise. Hari, my apologies...But thank you so much from the depth of my heart...you motivated me to start writing regularly, beginning this year,2024!
Post that session, I contemplated on my writing history. I write in Tamil ( my native language) and English ( My natural connection to the world).
wrote my first play in Tamil at 14. wrote six plays by 20. Directed and staged all of them. Wrote and published seven short stories.all published, in Tamil.
Wrote many poems in English, not for
publication but as deep expressions.
Assisted dialogue writing in 2 super-hit Tamil films.
...2 made into movies directed by myself.
Wrote umpteen articles, concept notes, and motivational presentations in English over the last 45 years.
Co-authored a book with friend PC Bala, titled “Rajini’s Punch Tantra”, in English & Tamil in 2011... Well received.
Between 2016 and 2020 wrote around 30 blogs. Produced more than fifty Motivational videos in English and forty in Tamil.
BUT I HAVE NOT PUBLISHED A BOOK OF MY OWN SO FAR!!!
Having realised this missing link, I decided to dedicate myself to serious writing- on the philosophy of living life unlimited through “SELF AWARENESS!”
I decided that this is my dominant theme, the focus area of “offer to the world” and will campaign strongly for a world that lives in awareness...harmony, and love!
Beginning this January, 2024. I started sharing these on LinkedIn, Medium & Typeshare...now also on Substack
Fairly consistent, very regular, in an enjoyable way. Mostly articles, some “Soul-speak” poems-songs, and some reflective notes...
some learnings, Some truths:
- I am a natural communicator. I am not an artificially intelligent writer
- I am not motivated by numbers to achieve quantitative wins; I am here to share my life perspectives and serious solutions to living positively
- I will first focus on building good habits of writing: Consistency, from the heart, not just to impress but dedicated to express the “universal message of LOVE ....3
- Till I am convinced of the above, I will not look at the “ easy distractions” of “how to make quick millions, have 200000 subscribers, 6 sure ways of becoming the next Steven Covy/Simon Senek” ....kind of temptations
- I have a thriving, ongoing profession/work as a consultant, coach and speaker.. and highly devoted customers, to whom I owe a lot. Hence I need to balance the time
- I will try sincerely to write 2 or 3 posts every week, based on what naturally emerges in my life, happens around me, and triggers the urge to share the WAAOW message: That We Are All One World- in Awareness and Love; In being human; In divinity!
Thank god, I have stuck to the agenda! and It was so good to know that I am hitting my hundredth posting, with this piece of sharing!!!

Now, I will consider the possibility of a wider reach, a global community of readers & followers
Now I know that the “writer in me” is in full flow; ready to be at it.
Even ready to make this the only thing to do from now, or maybe very soon!
