Que Sera Sera

“Que Sera Sera!” The Mystery and Magic of Life.

Yesterday, I experienced one of those magical moments that life  occasionally presents.

May be, it is a phenomenal coincidence, a rare unbelievable event, or perhaps a  mysterious design that surprises me in many ways. I am utterly thrilled.

Let me to walk you through why it was so mysterious and magical, and why I term  it as a "Great coincidence!"

First and foremost, all the sequences of “happenings” were unplanned.

Secondly, the magic emerged from a series of discrete random activities,  culminating in an aha moment so rare and special.

Thirdly, in terms of goals, time planning, or expectations, none of these events  were arranged in any particular order for the ultimate occurrence to happen.

Finally, what I experienced was something I had been “aware of “ as a conceptual  truth of life, as a faith, yet the very thing I uncovered was entirely new experience  and revealing to me.

Let me delve into the incident.

  1. It began with my engagement in a WhatsApp group—the Vibrant HR group  comprising hundreds of human resource professionals.
  2. My participation in this group is sporadic at best. Interestingly, I hadn't engaged  with this WhatsApp group in any form for nearly 8-9 weeks until the day before  yesterday when an issue related to industrial relations caught my attention.
  3. After almost 8-9 weeks of not delving into messages, I responded to this group  for the first time -on 5th October 2024, regarding the Samsung union issue and  related discussions.
  4. Right after this matter on the chat, there was another pop-up unrelated to  industrial relations. This message came from a seasoned HR professional, Ms.  Dhamayanti, who reposted something from her LinkedIn posting , about the  famous song "Que Sera Sera” sung by Doris Day in a Hollywood movie-possibly in  early 1960s!.
  5. Though I couldn't recall all the lyrics, I've heard and enjoyed this meaningful song  numerous times. Intrigued by her post, I read her LinkedIn sharing in detail, liked it  and replied with a note of appreciation.
  6. I expressed how my own conviction and philosophy align with the song's  message—that our choice is to live in the present because no one knows what the  future holds.
  7. This exchange was joyous; Dhamayanti acknowledged my reply warmly. Feeling  good about it, I shared my LinkedIn response on the WhatsApp group too.
  8. A bit later, around 6:00 PM yesterday evening, I returned to work on an English  biography - of an entrepreneur- that I have been working on. I'm at the final  chapter now. Needing a break after some deep focusing - intense working, I took a  small break. I opted for a 20-30 minute workout session in my home gym,  conveniently located on the same floor as my office space—a decision that became  yet another coincidence .
  9. Typically during workouts, music isn't always part of my routine but today felt  different—I chose Tamil songs by A.M. Raja on YouTube—a renowned name from  the '50s and '60s—and began exercising, even while enjoying familiar old Tamil  songs, playing sequentially ...until suddenly an unfamiliar song caught my ears!

What happened was astounding: These Tamil lyrics were new to me, unknown  before now—and what were the lyrics, the music?

Ditto “que Sera Sera!”...unbelievable!

it mirrored Que Sera Sera in every way: The tune, the lyrical content, it’s  message...ditto!

! Stunned by such synchronicity between both melody & theme (questions about  future), I paused everything else around me just listening intently again & again  realizing how profoundly connected these seemingly disparate elements truly  were—

I just couldn't believe my ears. I heard the song once, twice, and my mind was blown  over.

A mind-blowing revelation indeed!

My God! What kind of co-incidence is this? Connecting languages, connecting time  shifts, Connecting continents, connecting random whatsapp messages of un related issues, connecting through absolutely random activities of whatsapping,  writing a book, excercising, listening to a Tamil song collection- finally culminating  into a magical co-incidence!

All Into - one singular magic! WAAOW! Un-believable!

why would all these above crazy things follow a sequence and throw in a surprising  -incomparable- co-incidence of a Tamil song, matching the ever famous "Que Sera  Sera" of Doris Day fame?

I immediately posted this amazing truth back into the group. Damayanthi heard  the whole Tamil song and was also, as much stunned and awestruck as I was.

Very gleefully she responded, and another member of that group Sushmita, in a  cheerful way, talked about the fact that nothing happens by coincidence but  everything is a design of things in life.

So here I am, sitting enthusiastically wanting to share this magic with you...  because my dear friends, my conviction that life is so magical gets reinforced  practically every day.

It unfolds daily, if only you take notice.

Can't resist telling you that I'm kind of flying in the clouds with all these magical  things happening. yet, with curiosity, with kindness, asking this question: "what's  the very meaning of life?"

So opening my heart and my joy to every one of you wish you a great Navratri  festival and until we connect again huge hugs !

in awareness and love.
