When sheer presence
Of light in a time and space
Presents perspective and purpose,
multiplying your motivation!
It had been a challenging Saturday late night. A Bit. Different,
disturbing, displacing.
The 3 grandchildren are here for sleep-over. They will take over the
master bedroom. I have to find shelter in the sofa-cum-bed on the
ground floor.
Arvind, my son, is arriving by the post mid-night flight; I must get up
and open the gates- door for him. At around 1 am.
I have promised Meena, my wife that I will take care of the cooking
for the large-family lunch for 8 people. But my teacher wants to
meet me at 9am, hence I am not available for making lunch, Meena
will have to manage! I have ditched her.
So at 7.45 am, with all the above mixed up, impacting the sleep, yet
having got the morning hugs from the grandchildren, I walk up to my
2nd floor office-cum-den!
And magic happens....
I stand mesmerized by the play of sunlight, thru the glasses, and it’s
layering the combination of artifacts, photo frames, the writing
space, the white flooring and the spread of library books...with sheer
milky whiteness...awesome soothing feeling
